Kelly Poon - Sat afternon DJ
Kelly started her love affair with Argentine tango in London eight years ago. Initially it was a hobby to take the focus off her busy working life and revolved around going to Milongas and classes, but this changed after moving to Auckland in late 2013.
She started DJing at her own milonga a year ago, The Auckland Art Gallery Outdoor Tango, when the  co-organiser (also the DJ) had to attend his University exam. That initial panic around compiling her first playlist turned her into a Tango music addict which complemented her addiction to the dance itself! Since then, she has been a DJ at the Latin Festival, local Milongas as well as her own Milongas at the Auckland Art Gallery Outdoor Tango and The Wynyard Quarter Waterfront Milonga.
So what you can expect from Kelly at the Spring Tango in Auckland is a variety of fun and emotional tandas with smooth transitions to evoke the sound of Buenos Aries right here in Auckland.

Deb Waltenberg - Sat Night DJ
Hola everyone, I became a DJ from my love of tango music and dance, I am a regular DJ at the twisted hop Milonga in Christchurch and I have been a DJ for several overseas teachers and other tango events. My passion for tango music grew from my trips to Buenos Aires both dancing and listening to the beauty of tango at the traditional milonga halls. As a tango dancer I like to feel emotion on all levels, so when I DJ I love to see the tango orchestras and singers work their magic on the dancers. My preference is for the more traditional orchestras and of course I have my favourites but I'm very mindful of playing music for all tango dancers. For me when I DJ I try to take the dancers on a journey so I look forward to you joining me in Auckland where we can share the journey together.
Deb has also Djed at my other Seasonal Tango events Summer Tango in Nelson and Winter Tango in Hanmer

Iain Fyfe - Sun Afternoon DJ
Iain is a tango dancer and DJ from Wellington, New Zealand. He began his tango addiction in 2007 and travels regularly to festivals, encuentros and milongas all over the world. Iain is a guest DJ at Summer Tango and also Winter Tango in Hanmer, the New Zealand Tango Festival "After Party" and the Port Macquarie Tango Festival.  Although an avid collector of tango music, including rare recordings published in Japan, he believes that the DJ’s role is to keep the dancers happy, primarily through playing great quality Golden Age music in a variety of styles.
