WOW - The World of Wearable Art and Classic Cars Museum - $22
Located just out of town head down to WOW and marvel at the beautiful creations. Give yourself a couple of hours to study the wearable artwork and then head into drape yourself over the Classic Cars - a definite MUST DO in Nelson. Go a little bit hungry because the cafe is great.
Suter Art Gallery - Queens Gardens
The 3rd oldest Art Museum in NZ is currently being remodernised/rebuilt. It usually holds a nationally significant collection of art and presents a dynamic program of exhibitions. It is temporariiy relocated to Halifax Street with the famous Suter cafe also on site. Say Hi to Katrina in the cafe and tell her you are from the Tango Festival ... she will look after you! While you are there check out the limited but great collection on display next door in the gallery.
